A Fund Accountant is required to work within the Financial Reporting team based in Essex. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of statutory and regulatory reporting for collective investment vehicles including distribution rates and taxation. Duties will include producing accounts, proofing final reports, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards, relevant SORP and other regulations.
You will also supervise a team providing technical support and coaching where appropriate. You must be a Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant with sound double entry and financial accounting knowledge with experience in the investment industry and FSA regulated business. Experience of Taxation and Financial Reporting with OEIC/Unit Trusts would advantageous.
